Frequently asked questions
What makes Meadow Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress different from a standard latex bed?
Meadow uses 100% GOLS-certified Dunlop organic latex across all layers with interchangeable base, middle, and top layers for customizable firmness, plus an organic cotton cover with wool filling for temperature regulation and flame retardancy.
What materials are in this mattress and how do they feel day to day?
All latex layers are individually wrapped to reduce friction, supporting a stable surface. The organic cotton cover with wool adds breathable comfort, while the wool helps regulate temperature for a cooler or warmer night as needed.
How is the mattress sized and can it be adjusted for different sleepers?
It’s available in queen and king sizes with dual-firmness options on those sizes, allowing on-each-side customization to suit different body types and sleeping positions.
How do I set up Meadow for best comfort and use?
Choose the base, middle, and top latex layers to tailor firmness to your preference, then place the quilted organic cotton jersey cover over the wool-filled encasement for breathable, comfortable sleep.
What care does Meadow require to stay in good condition?
Since the layers are latex and the cover is cotton with wool, keep the mattress surface clean and use proper foundation support; avoid harsh cleaners on the cover and let it air if needed.
Is Meadow compatible with adjustable bases or foundations?
Yes, Meadow is compatible with adjustable bases and can also be paired with an optional spruce/fir hardwood foundation for added support.
