Frequently asked questions
What is the Aster Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress and who should consider it?
The Aster Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress is a fully customizable, three-layer latex mattress from Healthy Choice. It’s ideal for sleepers who want tailored firmness across base, middle, and top layers to balance support and pressure relief.
How do I set up the Aster mattress for different sleep preferences?
Each layer can be chosen in different firmness levels: base (firm or medium), middle (firm, medium, or soft), and top (soft or medium). This lets you dial in personalized support and comfort for your preferred sleep position.
Can the mattress be used with an adjustable bed base?
Yes, it is compatible with adjustable foundations and can be paired with an optional hardwood slatted foundation for added support.
What materials make up the Aster and how does it feel?
All three layers use 100% GOLS-certified Dunlop latex encased in organic cotton, with a quilted organic wool fill over the surface for comfort and natural flame protection; the cover is organic cotton.
Is the Aster available in custom sizes or dual firmness for bigger beds?
Yes, custom sizes are available, and queen and king sizes offer an optional dual firmness to suit sleepers with different needs.
Who is this mattress best suited for, and who might prefer a different option?
It’s suited for sleepers who want a highly customizable feel and support across layers, and for those who value organic materials. If you prefer a single, fixed firmness or a mattress not designed for multi-layer customization, this may be less ideal.
The Aster 11" organic Dunlop latex mattress offers unparalleled customization across all three layers, allowing you to tailor firmness and support to your exact sleeping preferences. Each layer uses 100% GOLS-certified Dunlop latex encased in organic cotton, with a quilted organic wool fill that enhances comfort and provides natural flame protection. The base layer is available in firm or medium, the middle layer in firm, medium, or soft, and the top layer in soft or medium, enabling a personalized balance of support and pressure relief. Optional dual firmness on queen and king sizes further enhances customization for shared sleepers with different needs.
Designed to adapt to various heights, weights, body types, and sleeping positions, this mattress is compatible with adjustable bases and can be complemented by an optional hardwood slatted foundation. The organic cotton cover, combined with wool quilting, delivers durable, breathable comfort, while the organic certifications ensure a clean, natural sleeping surface.
